About Pele Power Rides

Pele Power Rides is a small, independent comparison and ranking site for electric bikes and electric scooters, run by Jackson Hill Ventures. It’s the sister site to Pele Powerhouse, our portable power station guide.

We’re not a store. We don’t hold inventory or take orders; every “View” button sends you to the brand’s own website, where you can check the latest price and buy directly.

How we pick and rank models

We track 40 current models from 12 established brands that publish detailed specs. Rankings are based on stated specs, safety certification (UL 2849, UL 2271, UL 2272) and price per watt-hour. Commission rates play no part in which models we include or how we rank them.

What we do and don’t claim

Our comparisons are spec comparisons, not hands-on tests. Every number comes from the manufacturer’s official product page, and each model links to its source. When a brand doesn’t state a spec, we show a dash instead of guessing. We don’t invent test results, star ratings or customer reviews.

Safety notices

Where the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued a recall or warning involving a brand’s batteries, we note it next to that brand’s models and link the official CPSC page.

How we make money

Some links may become affiliate links. If you buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. See our affiliate disclosure.
